ARTISTS
Bryttany Mack
Bryttany, unlike most artists, wasn't always interested in pursuing art, let alone painting from a small age. Her story is a bit more unique. She always had the innate ability to see, but as fate would have it her body was forced to catch up when she was inadvertently placed into an art class. From there, her love affair with art began and with time her passion for painting came.

Being a native to Atlanta, it seemed God had everything divinely ordained that she go to SCAD Atlanta. Speaking through those around her, allowing her to fall in love with the campus during the tour. Post SCAD, she self taught herself to not only brand herself as a painter, but the essence a true artist. She expanded her repertoire to photography, 3D modeling, and illustration; God blessed her with the ability to expand her territory of expression.

Within her art career, she has been a part of three art shows (Black Girl Art Show, Conception Art Show, and a nonprofit art show for Feed Thee. She entered contests and completed personal projects for customers helping their visions come to life.

Bryttany Mack is available for private bookings

Available M, T, TH & F (any time), most Saturdays from 10am until 4pm, most Sundays after 1pm, and until 4pm on Wednesdays

Private tutoring, weddings, portraits, and events.

This is a birthday card for a dear friend. I painted it with a combination of Daniel Smith, Winsor&Newton, Mozart Komorebi metallic watercolor paints, and Chinese White for the babies breath, which I started with negative space, but soon realized it needed some help from touching up with Chinese White. The Micron pen came at the very end. First, I wet the paper, and only for the dalia blossoms, trying to keep their shape and outline. Then I dropped in the colors to follow each individual c

Quite the beginner, I'm drawn to the magical aspects of nature. Semi abstract, wet on wet watercolour is my favourite , which allows me to paint wild nature, but put my own magical slant on it! This piece was inspired by a tutorial by Joanne Boon Thomas.

This is a commission I painted in watercolor of a client's horse. I painted the horse from a photo and then lettered the horse's brand and name on the piece.

Title or Location: iCandy
iCandy is my take on our ever increasing use of smart phones as a source of distraction. It is also a spoof of the marketing of these devices, and the marketing world as a whole, using design asthetics from candy and toy products and advertisements from my childhood in the 80's, particularly the ones emblazoned on my subconscious that played repeatedly during Saturday morning cartoons.

I was taking a portrait drawing class back in 2019 with Frank Zamora at SCC. As somewhat of a perfectionist, I found myself struggling to let myself free in my work. I know what captivated me also captivated others...the lips, jaw lines, the nose, ears and the eyes can all look different and "change", based on angle and lighting. So this was the first time I decided to give up on proportions, let go, and just draw what I felt to me was weirdly beautiful. No one face is perfectly proportional,

These two little mice bring me pure joy everytime I look at them. It takes me back to my childhood of enchanted movies of woodland animals, imagination and play. I had to paint them, the whole process was pure joy, hence the title. Referance photo is by Belinda Fewings and can be found on Unsplash.
