So enjoyed it! Brittney was a fabulous teacher and so fun and helpful. She also allowed me to use her supplies, as I booked late the night before and was not aware I needed supplies until I received the confirmation email. I really appreciate it and look forward to more classes! Thank you!

My daughter and I really enjoyed the watercolor class! I've dabbled with watercolors in the past but usually became frustrated. Jessica did a great job taking us through the steps and demonstrating the different techniques as well as showing us how to use watercolor tools and recommending supplies. I've gained new skills and can't wait to begin new watercolor projects on my own. My daughter, who has never worked with watercolors, produced a beautiful camelia. This class was great for beginners as well as more advanced watercolorists.

ARTISTS
Bryttany Mack
Bryttany, unlike most artists, wasn't always interested in pursuing art, let alone painting from a small age. Her story is a bit more unique. She always had the innate ability to see, but as fate would have it her body was forced to catch up when she was inadvertently placed into an art class. From there, her love affair with art began and with time her passion for painting came.

Being a native to Atlanta, it seemed God had everything divinely ordained that she go to SCAD Atlanta. Speaking through those around her, allowing her to fall in love with the campus during the tour. Post SCAD, she self taught herself to not only brand herself as a painter, but the essence a true artist. She expanded her repertoire to photography, 3D modeling, and illustration; God blessed her with the ability to expand her territory of expression.

Within her art career, she has been a part of three art shows (Black Girl Art Show, Conception Art Show, and a nonprofit art show for Feed Thee. She entered contests and completed personal projects for customers helping their visions come to life.

Bryttany Mack is available for private bookings

Available M, T, TH & F (any time), most Saturdays from 10am until 4pm, most Sundays after 1pm, and until 4pm on Wednesdays

She returned to watercolor as a medium in 2021 following a deep love for water based media in her youth and college career, where she studied Fine Arts at the University of Georgia.

Her body of watercolor illustrations are colorful, playful and inviting - she loves to paint animals that come to life deep with soul, and portraits that capture the essence of a person. She has a deep enjoyment of studying art, talking shop about art materials and process, and believes that every teacher is a student, and every student is a teacher.

I am a middle art teacher for a homeschool enrichment program. My students are ages 9 to 13. I strive to teach them that their age is not a barrier to creating complex, stunning art. I was searching for inspiration images for our first watercolor unit that emphasized the use of the untouched paper and negative space to provide the light. I stumbled upon a reel of a similar image and decided to try my hand at creating my version as the prototype for the class. This piece turned out beyond anythin

The Cottages These homes are where our families created special memories each summer when we would visit my best friend and her family. I took this image during the mid day as we pull away in a boat from the dock on the right. The little home is over 100 years old and has to be torn down due to water damage. It was my favorite. I created this piece for their family as a gift to remember the beauty of these special places.

I almost threw this away. Sometimes I have a hard time "pushing through" a painting that I am doing. I'm tempted to stop and say "this is not good, I won't finish it, it's awful". I painted the sky background a year ago and the painting just sat in a corner. One day I decided to just "play" with this piece of paper and I loved what happened! Quite often I find that I need to let my artwork just cook in a corner. Every once in a while I surprise myself!

After I had joint replacement surgery on my left thumb, my dominant hand, I still wanted to paint. I thought that I'd just play with color using my right hand to wield the brush. To my amazement, I painted with more spontaneity and with a looseness I've been trying to achieve before. Maybe I'm ambidextrous and have only just discovered it (I'm 76).
